Commercial diver Vic Johns from Devon England has a lot of WASP experience. He wrote:

"The WASP, this was mainly used in the oil fields for observation / visual inspection. The operator drove the suit via two thrusters mounted either side of the suits "hips"; using rocker switches on the floor of the suit under both feet. An indicator panel (coloured LED's) by the operators chin, indicated which mode of travel you had selected.  A really neat suit, not much good for tidal areas, and not much good at retrieving anything, due to the extra weight interfering with the trim of the suit.  But a good toy for flying".
