The Hammond company from Miami Florida USA produced cast bronze shallow water helmets and was managed by Lou Hammond.
The helmets were initially made for a tourist resort in the Dutch Antiles. The helmet constisted of two brass parts with a seem on the side. No extra weight was needed. The brass nametag soldered to the front reads:
