| This Red Fiberglass helmet was designed and built by
myself. I actually built three of these helmets, one red and two blue ones. I started designing this helmet in
1966. I worked on it in several countries, U.S., Singapore and Indonesia. I would carry the unfinished helmet
on different commercial diving jobs and work on it as a hobby. I sold one, gave one away to a friend, John Edwards, and kept and used one of the blue helmets. My Blue Dean Hat was stolen out of my dive shop in San Diego in approximately 1993-4. It was sitting next to several new Superlite helmets and the thief took my helmet. If you could make note of the stolen helmet I would appreciate it. I would like to get it back. |
