Al Mikalow
constructed a diving suit utilizing universal joint designs in 1952. The
suit was surface supplied, designed for depths up to 1000 feet. It was
used on 18 working dives. Al Mikalow was a professional diver who had a
lot of experience diving Galeazzi rigs. Source: Garry Harris, history of
