Introduction

The Duikvaker or Dutch Dive Show took place in Utrecht in the Netherlands in February 2007. There were visitors there from Germany Belgium and Holland and with over 100 stands and thousands of visitors as in past years the show was a great success. The Museum of Diving once again had a wonderfully presented stand with various item of historic, vintage and modern diving equipment on display. Here are a few pictures of what was there to see..
 


The Dutch Diving Helmet is seen here being demonstrated by two volunteers. The helmets has been designed by Kees deJonge
and sold around the World for undersea walks. The helmet is well balanced and comfortable to wear and easy for everyone to use.

foreground 2 of the Dutch Diving helmets with a cast iron Snead.
 


Above we have a selection of Russian equipment
complete with a radio telephone operator.
